Russian Women Set The Traditional Family Values

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

Russia is a culture rich with traditions and history. It is famous for their arts; their ballet is world renowned as well as their classical music, and the amazing architecture in their cities. Vodka and Matryoshka dolls are some of the first things that come to people minds when they think of Russia, and secondly it is the women. The Russian women are the backbone of the homes and the traditions.

These women are very intelligent, hard working, and educated. They could have a good career if they choose, but very few do. Most of the women desire only to have a husband and children. They are natural nurturers and believe in caring for someone and having someone take care of them. Getting married young is very common; most are married between the ages of 18-22, and usually still live at home before marriage also.

Women also marry young for social status, not because they want great social status, but because society expects it of them. A woman who is not married by the age of twenty-five is regarded as having something wrong with her, even if she has a good career and makes her own money. A married woman with children holds a higher social status and more respect than a single woman.

Marriage is sacred to women in Russia. This is a partnership, a union of equals. It must come with respect and appreciation because they sacrifice all for their husbands and families. Commitment is very important, if a man is unfaithful it is considered to rip the whole foundation of the marriage apart.

Russian women take their role as a wife very seriously and with pride. They believe that they are made to stay at home, taking care of the household and the children while their husbands are working and providing for them. They help without hesitation to build up their husbands careers, even sacrificing their own if necessary. Her main goal is to provide a loving and warm home for her husband, taking care of him first and making sure he is happy.

These women are considered the best mothers in the world because of their dedication and sacrifice they give to their children. They are always there to offer moral and financial support throughout their children’s lives, no matter their ages when they need the help. It is considered a great pride to have a son and the relationship between the mother and son is very strong throughout their lives. With a daughter, there is a lot that they are taught. The mother prepares them on how to run a household, how to cook, sew, and make a good home.

When Russian women prepare a meal for their husband and family, it is done lovingly. No matter how simple or complicated the meal, she goes at it with all she has in her heart. And, cooking isn’t simple, most everything is done from scratch and shopping for food is a daily process. But the women take pride in having a real Russian home that smells of good food when you enter.

The Russian women hold the families together, sacrificing, dedicating, and giving all they have. As Russia is a place of tradition and values, it is the women that hold those traditions together. They are strong, smart, and unique women, they may be referred to as old fashioned by other cultures, but they don’t consider themselves that, they feel this is how a real woman is.

Unique Wedding Cake Toppers

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010

A final touch to beautiful and tasty wedding cakes are unique wedding cake toppers. One can always tell a well-planned wedding by the attention given to even this small detail. Unique wedding cake toppers can be selected to exhibit the wedding couple’s unique personalities whether they be chic, simple, classic, funny or goofy. Some times you can design your own one of a kind custom monogram cake topper.

Some of the typical wedding cake toppers have a dancing bride and groom, together, standing side by side, kissing or gazing at one another. Some engaged pairs go for adorable wedding cake toppers shaped like youngsters dressed up in wedding clothes. The wedding cake topper can be purchased with figures that resemble the actual bride and groom, such as blond, brunette or African American figures.

Some of the frequently seen and famous cake toppers are heart shaped wedding cake toppers. There are porcelain hearts, resin hearts, even glass heart wedding cake toppers that glisten in the light and can be taken home and proudly displayed atop the couple’s mantel after the wedding. There are modern, stylized hearts or simple, classic versions. The hearts can be adorned with lace, ruffles, seashells – there is no end to the possibilities.

Choosing flowers for a wedding cake toppers are also very famous and many couples opt for that. The perfect petals of a beautiful spray of colorful flowers atop the wedding cake will turn heads at the wedding receptions. The flowers are often chosen to match the wedding bouquets or the color of the bridesmaids’ gowns. They can be real, faux, or delightful sugar flowers created by the baker.

The internet is the place to find the best and unique wedding cake toppers but you can also find them at craft stores and bakeries. Some sites sell wedding cake toppers that mirror the unique interests of the bride and groom. For couples who can’t get enough of western music, a bride and groom in ten gallon hats and cowboy boots might be just the thing. Couples who spend every weekend speeding along back roads on their motorcycles might choose a bride and groom perched atop a motorcycle. Animal enthusiasts have their choice of everything from bunnies to dolphins, while lovers of fantasy can choose kings and queens, wizards or dragons.

Finally, there are even sites that craft customized wedding cake toppers using a picture of the bride and groom. These toppers can be created to look just like the bride and groom, or to be a caricature of wedding couple, wearing traditional wedding clothes or any other type of outfit the couple might choose.

A Piece Of Blarney Stone” 10 Ways To Add Force To Your Communication (2)

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

5. Kidding around

A little bit of joking can do wonders to lift the tension, or worse boredom when making your speech. That way, you’ll get the attention of the majority of the crowd and they’ll feel that you’re just as approachable, and as human to those who listen.

6. Be similar to them

Communication is all about mixing with the public. You’ll get several ideas, as well as identifying what people make them as they are.

7. Me, Myself, and I

Admit it, there are times you sing to yourself in the shower. I know I do! Listening to the sound of your own voice while you practice your speech in front of a mirror can help correct the stress areas of your pitch. And at the same time as you’re doing this you can spruce up as well.

8. With a grin

Much like eye contact a smile says it all. Why do you have to grimace or frown in a meeting or a gathering, unless it’s a wake. You can better express what you’re saying when you smile.

9. A Model

There must be at least one or two people in your life you have listened to when they’re at a public gathering or maybe at church. Sure they read their lines, but taking a mental note of how they emphasize what they say can help you once you take center stage.

10. Groundwork

Make the best out of preparation rather than just scribbling notes and often in a hurried panic. Some people like to write things down on index cards, while other resort to being a little more silly as they look at their notes written on the palm of their hand (not for clammy hands, please). Just be comfortable with what you know since you enjoy your work.

And that about wraps it up. These suggestions are rather amateurish in edgewise, but I’ve learned to empower myself when it comes to public or private speaking and it never hurts to be with people to listen how they make conversations and meetings far more enjoyable as well as educational.

About Dutch Dating

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

Dutch dating means a form of dating whereby each person will pay for himself or herself when they go out on a date. This method of dating is often the best when both parties are new to each other, independent, or just friends.

Many people often like to go Dutch because they are not comfortable with someone else paying for them. This is common with women who are liberal or independent in their thinking.

Dutch dating is also common if funds are low for both parties. Both people will split the costs of dinner and any other activities chosen to do on the date.

The two parties may also have an appointment to meet at a venue. Each individual therefore bear the transportation fare to the place.

An important advantage of Dutch dating is that it is informal and therefore provides a very calm environment that many people prefer when starting dating.

It is just natural for some men and women to feel uncomfortable when someone else pays for anything they enjoy until they are familiar with such a person. Also they do not want to feel obliged towards the dating partner.

Some people practice Dutch dating in order to absolve them of any feeling of obligation towards the second person. Most women also practice Dutch dating due to their understanding of the expenses connected with dating and don’t suppose it is fair that they guy should pay for everything most especially when their expenditure at the restaurant is very costly they still have to buy additional things from the eating place.

Dutch dating is common for people who are not comfortable with someone else spending money on them. This is just natural for some people to be more contented when they bear the cost of their own spending rather than someone bearing it for them.

Pride is another factor that makes many liberal and independent women practice Dutch dating. They prefer to pay for their own expenses. They feel more comfortable, esteemed and satisfied since they owe their dating partner nothing. If you meet such a woman feel free to practice Dutch dating.
